Welcome to GlowEase. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of glowease.store (the "Site") and your purchase of any products from GlowEase ("we," "us," "our"), a skincare brand based in Montréal, Quebec, Canada. By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your province or state, to make a purchase on this Site. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Products & Descriptions

We make every effort to display our products and their ingredients accurately. However, colors, packaging, and product appearance may vary slightly from what is shown on your screen. We reserve the right to modify formulations, packaging, and pricing at any time without notice. Full ingredient lists are available on each product page; always review them before use if you have known allergies or sensitivities.

3. Cosmetic Use Disclaimer

GlowEase products are cosmetics intended for external use only. They are not drugs and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Individual results may vary. Statements on this Site have not been evaluated by the FDA or Health Canada.

Retinol products: Products containing retinol may increase sun sensitivity. Use sun protection daily. Retinol is not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding; consult your healthcare provider before use.

Patch testing: We recommend performing a patch test before first use of any new product. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.

4. Orders & Payment

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that appear fraudulent or are placed in commercial quantities. Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise indicated and do not include applicable taxes or duties, which are calculated at checkout. Payment is processed securely through Shopify's payment infrastructure; we do not store your full payment card details.

5. Shipping

Orders are typically dispatched within 24 to 48 hours on business days. Shipping timelines, costs, and free-shipping thresholds (free shipping on US and Canadian orders over $50 and $80, respectively) are detailed in our Shipping Policy. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon our delivery of the package to the carrier, except where consumer protection law provides otherwise.

6. Returns & 30-Day Glow Guarantee

Our 30-day glow guarantee is described in full in our Refund Policy. In short: if you're not satisfied within 30 days of delivery, contact us at support@glowease.store and we'll make it right with a refund or replacement, subject to the conditions in that policy.

7. Promotions & Discount Codes

Discount codes (including the 10% welcome offer) cannot be combined with other offers unless expressly stated, have no cash value, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. Bundle pricing (such as The Complete Ritual) applies only as configured on the Site.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, images, logos, product names, and design, is owned by or licensed to GlowEase and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, to attempt unauthorized access to any systems, or to scrape or harvest data from the Site.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GlowEase shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product(s) giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection legislation, including Quebec's Consumer Protection Act.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold GlowEase harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of our products contrary to their instructions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be brought before the courts of the judicial district of Montréal, Quebec, except where applicable consumer law grants you the right to proceed in your local jurisdiction.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version posted on the Site at the time of your order applies to that order. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
