GlowEase ("we," "us," "our"), based in Montréal, Quebec, Canada, is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and the rights you have, including rights under Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25), Canada's PIPEDA, and, where applicable, US state privacy laws.

  • Order information: products purchased, order history
  • Communications: messages you send to support@glowease.store
  • Marketing preferences: newsletter signup ("glow list")

Information collected automatically:

  • Cookies and similar technologies used by our platform (Shopify) and analytics/advertising tools

Payment information: Payments are processed by Shopify Payments and its payment partners. We do not receive or store your full credit card number.

2. Why We Collect It (Purposes)

We collect and use personal information to:

  • Process and deliver your orders, including sending order confirmations and shipping updates
  • Provide customer support and honor our 30-day guarantee
  • Send marketing emails only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link
  • Improve our Site, products, and marketing (analytics)

We collect only the information necessary for these purposes.

3. Consent

By providing your information at checkout, you consent to its use for order fulfillment. Marketing communications require your separate, opt-in consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or contacting us; withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal or processing required to fulfill an existing order.

Some of these providers are located outside Quebec and outside Canada (notably in the United States). Where personal information is communicated outside Quebec, we take steps to ensure it receives adequate protection, consistent with Law 25 requirements.

8. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (SSL/TLS) and Shopify's PCI-compliant payment infrastructure, to protect your information. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we take commercially reasonable measures to protect your data. In the event of a confidentiality incident involving your personal information that presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the CAI as required by law.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Site is not directed at individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
